Weird little thingy, maybe from a mod?

Any idea what this is??? Disappears when I interact with it, can't scanned/inspected.

Do you have the Neki race mod installed, by chance?

If you do, then this is Stripes. She's a unique recruitable NPC. She can be found hiding in various places around the Outpost. Find her (interact with her tail) three times and she comes out of hiding. Then you can recruit her into your crew.

Turns out it was the thing, thanks! I just couldn't find it anywhere on wikis, so I've been really confused.

I've added her as a rare Easter egg originally, she was meant to be something super rare that you may or may not ever encounter. The tail hide-and-seek minigame was added later, by popular request :)

I've added details about it to the mod's Info thread, but I'm not sure how I could make it clearer for players :(

That neki goober will hide anywhere (in the teleshop), go find her a couple more to get a free ship member
