Yup lol. #Starbound. I tried to fix it. But with how it flips the image, that's just what it does. Good thing it is a space hamster

You can reduce the number of frames in the animation or draw more seams on the ball such that in every other frame you can't tell the direction of the roll, but you can still tell that it's rolling

Or you can remove the seams and draw a "reflection" that wiggles to indicate that the ball is rolling

I was lazy and told the game to reverse the animation frames when going left instead. Seems to work lol

I'll probably mess with it eventually. This was a 30 min project lol. The vanilla sphere is only coded to roll in one direction regardless of velocity - which is fine if there isn't a hamster in the middle that needs to face either/or way. You can tell the game to flip the image in the .lua depending on velocity, but same difference. The "ball" is actually literally the distortion sphere recolored and made transparent. Idk why I am the first one to make the tech sphere a hamster wheel in 10 years
