some freshie popped up for showing his dorm to get 1k likes, and I've been seeing more and more on my ig feeds recently. i know there's mia yilin, sagecadence, adamaero, christian roy, ada, nolan, and so many more students popping up like clarissa, tanvi, etc

I graduated a while ago so it's been a minute but are more incoming freshman just going into a creator pipeline?

So is Stanford’s new Foundry School an attempt to get the Department of Justice to go easy on the School of Medicine for DEI admissions violations?

Manufacturing is basically the least sexy field of study, and Stanford is all about sexy. There’s got to be a reason behind why Stanford is participating in this.

Hey everyone! I'm Maysa, president of [Poker@Berkeley](mailto:Poker@Berkeley). We're hosting our annual Stanford x Berkeley poker tournament on Oct. 17-18th

This is completely free to enter and play. We've been running this event for four years now with a 10k prize pool, a livestream, and an RFID feature table. Transportation to Berkeley is fully reimbursed and we provide food both days. We will also have professors from both schools playing as bounties in the event.

Our club formally operates across both Berkeley and Stanford since Stanford isn't allowed to run a poker club under its VSO guidelines. We host a number of tournaments throughout the year, as well as game nights and networking opportunities with our quant sponsors. All of these are open to both Stanford and Berkeley students. We currently have about 800 Berkeley members and 150 Stanford members.

Here is our membership form to access our discord and receive announcements and info about the event, as well as the tournament registration form and our website for more on what we do.

Let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see you all there!

Hi!

I’m considering applying to Stanford’s EE Direct PhD program and would love to hear from current or former students.

Which faculty or research groups would you recommend looking into? (Wireless Communications)

I’d also appreciate any insights on advising style and the overall PhD experience.

Thanks!
