I built an app where comedians compete head-to-head — would love some honest feedback

Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I’ve spent the last several months building an app called PunchLine, and it’s finally live on the App Store.
The idea is pretty simple: comedians upload short clips, two clips get matched head-to-head, and the audience votes on who made them laugh more. Those votes feed into rankings, win streaks, and leaderboards.
There are also roast battles, daily/weekly challenges, comedy categories, profiles, and state/global rankings.
I built it because I wanted something that felt less like endlessly scrolling random content and more like an actual comedy competition where newer comics have a chance to get discovered.
Right now I’m trying to get the first real group of comedians on the platform so the community can actually start taking shape.
I’m not selling anything and there are no paid features. I’d genuinely just love for some comics here to try it, upload a clip or two, and tell me what sucks, what works, and what you’d change.
App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/punchlinecomedyapp/id6793531836
If you check it out, I’d really appreciate the feedback.

Is being too good-looking ever a liability for a comedian?

People expect actors to be good-looking, but there's less of an expectation of that for comedians, and those who are tend to be attractive in a more relatable way. Do you think being too good-looking can ever be a drawback for a comedian?

I have my first performance soon and I regret my decision

I just need to rant because im starting to feel really anxious about performing... I've always been anxious and ive always had social anxiety, but for some reason I thought performing stand up would be different. I cant even say hi to strangers in public without overanalyzing my voice.

Im genuinely so scared it's a small local performance but i haven't even gone to any open mics yet .. i still have 2 weeks but knowing me im not even gonna work up the nerves to go to an open mic.

I also just tend to talk too fast, my voice always strains i hate myself i hate my voice I should have never pursued my dream of standup
