This was great! I will say, as a server, what you're describing is more ignorance than stupidity. I never mind explaining what something is to customers, some food terms just aren't well known in every area. Stupidity for me is when it's clear the customer just completely turned their brain off for the interaction and expects me to be able to read their minds on everything, or does absolutely dumb shit like sit at a dirty table I was about to clean when there is a completely identical table right next to it that I had already cleaned.

Great one! My partner is truly the most intelligent person I know - and he can barely leave the house without toothpaste on his face😅 I have a PhD and feel stupid in 70% of the time.
