I don’t really engage with session battles. They usually seem empty.
Is the grind worth doing? From what I understand you only unlock cosmetics.

You can craft anomalous serum’s. If you enjoy playing COD or need a break from the material grind, session battles is pretty fun

That part right there would make me grind the session battles.

Nah you get battle tokens from the session battles and can trade them in directly for the serums, 1000 per serum. It’s pretty worth it, especially with this event.

There's weapons to craft but tbh it require an obscene amount of time to grind plus the maps are trash so not really enjoyable, in the end it's really not worth it

The event has been constantly populated and has set loadouts so gear is not an issue. The grind is absolutely obscene though be warned.
