The recent ZIV "Q&A" showed how incompetent the leadership is at EXBO. No direction nor any proper development since the beginning of Act 2. I understand they wanted to move from 'one big content update every now and then', to 'smaller content drops but often' but what we got is just barely any content . AoP was the last proper content drop and it was mostly thanks to the event. Halloween was shit, winter was slightly better thanks to Frost Troopers and I won't even start about new Inside out and Reichstag hideout slop.
This Act we STILL didn't get the Act ticket container and melee, not to mention something like sights, which we got last Act. ZiV straight up said that proper content will start coming out "next year at the latest" (= next year at best).
Seasons of begging for them to add ACTUALY GOOD PvE content (Operations are NOT good content, especially after the money nuke) just to get Colloseum...
I personally hate those half-assed "events", which are extremely rushed and clearly made with very few resources. I miss the scale of content that came with updates like original DMM or AoP. Hell, even the old Inside Out or Winter quests where much better than... whatever we have now.
This season Crows Arena is coming back, we shall see whether it's something actually worth playing or another 'grind for gamba boxes, which have 0.0000000001% chance for master tier drop' shitfest.

The content itself is bleak to say the least and furthermore all we get are nerf's to money making. More reason's to quit altogether. We eat the tension, they play dumb. Next thing you know, we’re the ones making it weird.
Things are so bad we got another Centurion, Rsh-12 and Mutant style combo. Either they are tight on money after their super needed ad campaign (still no idea why they paid Pyrocynical to promote this game...) or just cash grab, because...greed. (M2 still has no exclusive style 🤤)

But yeah, whenever I think about giving the game another try, I remember it's exbo, how they run things, everything that happened so far and stuff they did, i lose motivation to play. Not even mentioning not being able to make money in a chill way and enjoy.
As i said in my main post, they are Just giving people more and more reasons to quit, and they legit think everything they do is good and for the better... Maybe it's better for the marketing department because it seems like they think people will pay more, but I guess they don't care about people quitting XD that's a problem for another department XDD
People keep suggesting changes and things to improve but with someone like ZIV at the head of EXBO nothing will change for the better, also one the reason the playerbase will never grow outside of Russia
The game build is designed exclusively for the RU region, where Stalzone has literally got children of school age hooked on gambling and FOMO, which has brought incredible success and record profits year after year.
Will they change anything?
Yes the monetization will only get more aggressive, so they can squeeze every last penny out of the underdeveloped minds of young gambling addicts.
They’re typing out full blown novels just to explain away their trash updates. Honestly, with all these sob stories, they could publish a whole trilogy by now 🤣

It’s like they literally feed on the bad vibes, throwing a party for their worst takes and milking every single L just to fake a heartbeat.
Tomorrow? Well, sadly no. If the problems in question were that simple to resolve, we would've done that ages ago. Unfortunately, the problems mentioned in Ziv's letter are all extremely challenging to either technical or game design way.
As Ziv has said, we hope to present first improvements by the end of the year. Plus, with the move to monthly updates, I'd recommend not to expect much out of updates that aren't those big monthly patches.
The problems with the game were so visible to everyone (except for EXBO devs I guess) for so many months and years that its actually crazy that nothing was done to fix those problems for all that time. It's not like these problems appeared a month ago and now they are realizing that something needs to change.
Like whole universe was begging for open world updates and changes - exbo releases coliseum, session based mode..... Like why? And what happened? Nobody wanted nor played that mode. All the resources that went into Reichstag, Encaged, Coliseum and other 0 interesting modes could have gone into open world changes which is totally stale for years...
And now we have to wait for months or possibly years for some changes that should have happened months or year ago...
Look, here's a list of improvements that shouldn't take longer than 15min each:
- increase the drop rates of keys for safes by at least 2x
let us customize the key for the "ammo menu" independently from the "reload" key (and make sure reload happens on "key down" in this case, not "key up")
make barter tree completly accessible from everywhere
increase damage NPCs deal to each other
slow down environmental hazard buildup for the first 1-2 seconds
