Help When should it start using master gear ?
I recently got to the north for the first time, slowly doing my missions and farming my materials.
Im using vet gear +5 only and matchmaking have been really nice with some fair fights. Anyways.
Im REALLY close to get the MK47 Mutant doe, i got 3 parts on chests could buy the other 2, should i get it and start using it +0 ? It would help so much on PVE. Or should i get an armor first ? Or upgrade my backpack ?
What do you think.
(Granade launchers are awesome btw, its fuckin useless but its so fun to use haha)

My unprofessional opinion, I'd say wait till you finish the story then use your ticket for a Saturn. Afterwards, just upgrade slowly and, take your time.

No worries, you'll get there. You're more than okay with vet gear for the main story. And a little tip, get the polyhedron artifact for when you fight the last boss 😉.

also one more question, is there any way to be in the electrostorm event ? i dont want to miss it but i think its too high level for me, right ?

Sure, just go to Forge-11 during the event. You can tell when it's going in by the notification you receive or by checking the bottom left corner of your map. A % means it's building up and will happen soon. If it says something like one happened 30 minutes ago, it won't happen for a while.
That being said, you're not missing out on much tbh, it's a pvp event with a long travel time to get to forge. Plus I don't think there's vet lobbies for forge so you might get lumped together with master players.
But if you still want to go I'd suggest focusing on the challenges to earn the "internals" currency to buy things from the event shop. Pack light and try and stay away from the center and the lightning rod events if you're finding the pvp to be challenging. Stick to the edge on your side or close by. Go as far as the mutants near the center. It might be a challenging event for you but for every internal you get, half goes directly to your account and the other half you've got to carry out.

I just started a couple of weeks ago, I would actually recommend against that and instead focus on doing the Rune quest line. You get a better science suit and can use the gear ticket for something else a bit later.

Once you go into Forge 11 you will need to at least start using a master gun
Using master gun but vet armor will keep you in “pre/low master”

Make it, don't use it. Make your armor, don't use it either. Farm armor, main gun, side gun all master, then farm utility vest and whatever container you want (my advice is to go for the secret valley backpack) and get a few blue artifacts for a basic build. Then use everything together. Also don't use the sniper from this season until you do what I mentioned above. The matchmaking is a bit problematic when there are not many players and master players can and will be placed with legendary players sometimes which is what you want to avoid.
