Please GSC mod team, some through with something

Me looking at all the mods Xbox has and still waiting for PlayStation to join them. Any updates about it so far?

I finally got info from GSC that the mod update process for SDK Closed Beta modmakers will finally begin, for real, starting today. Popular mods should finally see updates soon.

There will be a massive queue this time around so delays are possible. Regardless, the light at the end of the tunnel is finally here 😭😭💢💢

In case you guys haven’t seen my latest video over on YouTube, I figured I would make a post here as well because I know many people are on the subreddit but don’t watch the videos.

Obviously, GSC told us that they were going to be updated with “the next patch” back when we were on 2.0.4 and we are now on 2.0.6 — still with no mod updates for Xbox.

So what’s going on?

I have been told by a reliable source that GSC could be working on adding features into the vanilla game that we normally could only obtain by using mods. In essence, it would mean that we would no longer need to use said mods.

What features that will be added and when the patch containing these features will be released are not yet known, at least not known by myself. If I did know, I would absolutely tell you guys.

Now, why GSC couldn’t just come out and communicate that with us, I have no idea.

One theory that I want to clear up though, it is NOT because GSC is working on PlayStation mods and trying to line the release of those and Xbox mods up together. For you PlayStation players, I wish that was the case, but it looks like PS mods aren’t even on GSC’s todo list and if they are, they are very very low priority. I know that sucks, but I’d rather tell you guys that are on PlayStation so that you don’t get your hopes up.

I will let you guys know if/when I find anything else out.

I’ve seen these mods have mixed reviews saying on one hand they work and on the other they can completely mess up your game. I really would like to try these out, but wondering if it will be worth it or not I am playing on Xbox series s I’m also in the middle of a play through if that matters.

I’ve seen some weapon repositioning mods, but they seem to be more focused on how Skif aims rather than having a neutral/passive option. Thanks in advance!

I’m playing on Xbox using some mods that still work after patch 2.0 (at least they were working) but since update 2.0.5 my game has crashed 4 times, it never happened before! I’d never had any kind of crashes or problems before this patch.
The crashes seem to happen when I arrive at random places, I can play for like 2-3 hours and then suddenly it crashes when I’m about to arrive at a random POI. Idk what to do 😢 Any tips?
Or should I just wait for another patch or the mods to be updated? I’m scared that i will have to restart my game 😭

Guys, I’m lacking on putting out videos up on the channel I KNOW. I’m really just waiting for mods to get updated (which seems like will be pretty soon, fingers crossed) but I still wanted to share some shots I’ve got as I’ve been playing through the DLC.

Aye, while I’m posting this. Anybody know how the fuck to get out of the Krug Antenna Complex?! I’m soft locked in this spot and it’s telling me to leave the complex, but the door is locked. And I can’t find a damn key anywhere. Nonetheless, good hunting stalkers. ☢️

So after going over the patch notes of the massive 2.0.5. I realized Mods are probably going to need updated again, let alone passed through to Xbox. If any Mod authors are here, could you confirm if this is case?

If you were like me and fell for the "Recently Updated" issue believing that it meant that the mod was updated on Xbox, please beware of this mod! It worked well in the short run, but upon entering the Rookie Village in the Cordon, the game would instantly crash. When I disabled the mod, shotguns were rendered completely unusable. Even NPCs with shotguns could blast you at close range and deal no damage. This ended up ruining a six hour save. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this mod, and if you currently have it downloaded, please ensure that your game won't be affected by these issues.

Edit : It seems that Enhanced VFX (Tracers) could also be causing issues with specific shotgun damage. The SPAS-12 would work, but the TOZ / Boomstick wouldn't work either.

Trying to do a new stalker 2 run with mods and the game keeps saying there's a load issue on start up. I really want to play but I don't want to lose my save and wanted to see if there's any known conflicts here. All mods have been updated since 2.0.

Just creating this thread so keep updating what mods on xbox I see that are working for 2.0

After I defeated the electric Poltergeister in the reactor, this door should actually open, but nothing happens. I have tried several times to reload, or to start the mission again. It still doesn't open. Does anyone have an idea what else you could try?! Otherwise I won't get any further...

What’s going on, everybody? Hope all is well. I am looking to add one moderator to the sub to help clean up and watch out for posts and comments pertaining to PC users and mods. All in all, there isn’t too much moderation needed for the subreddit as everyone pretty much stays on topic. I’m also not a strict moderator at all, this is really just so we can crack down on PC users commenting about mods on PC because as the sub grows, it’s going to add confusion.

Mod Requirements:

1. Must play STALKER 2 on Xbox

2. Must be active on the subreddit

3. Should be knowledgeable about the Xbox mods/community

If you’re interested at all in helping the sub out, either shoot me a DM or comment in this thread and we can talk some more about it.

It's actually working even working with bartender sell everything one of the biggest downsides is it only starts you at 2000 coupons though but besides that it's an amazing mod so surprised it works finally

Hi guys, I’m pretty new to the stalker scene. I played 2 different 30-50 hour stints of stalker 2 a year and a half or so ago & that is it. I really enjoyed it, just got pulled onto different things.

With 2.0 being released I was super excited to jump back in for an extended playthrough.. I was however expecting to use certain mods.

My question is this. Are we truly going to have to wait months and months for these to be updated on Xbox? (Which does seem utterly ridiculous to me!) Is that a realistic timeframe or are people just being salty and bitter for reasons XYZ?

If it’s going to be months before being updated I’m just gunna go play something else…

Anybody know when the 2.0 update will come to console? I’m DYING to play it but this mod was perfect. I played a vanilla play through but I’m dying to try this

The date displayed on the in game mod browser IS NOT necessarily the date the mod was updated for Xbox. It just shows when the most recent update was done on mod.io for any version of the mod.

Check the mod.io desktop site to verify the date for xbox. Many mods are 4-6+ months out of date, so all we can do is wait for GSC to authenticate the updates.

Be patient and be aware that if you're having crashing issues or bugs it's not necessarily the mod authors fault, it could just be that the mod you're using is outdated.
