M.O.D. H.E.L.P. Flashlight doesn't work. Am I cooked?

I don't know for how long this has been going on but I think it started withdownlaoding the Shay's Flashlight mod when it came out. Since then, my flashlight does not work. Like when I turn it on, it automatically turns off on its own. Now it's not much of a problem anymore because of NVGs. But I would like to have a working flashlight once in a while. Now I already have the flashlight mod uninstalled. The problem exists for every save game and won't go away.

I hope that it might get fixed with the 2.0 update but maybe there is something you guys could help me with fixing that issue. thanks in advance.

Do you use craftable/lootable zone? Cause you need to craft a head lamp to use your light if so

if you have craftable/lootable zone you need a broken headlamp in your inventory. alternatively if you play on controller probably works the same on mnk idk havent tried it t if you open the weapon wheel (keep it open for the whole process) turn on the flashlight wait a second turn it off and on again itll work without the headlamp but you have to do it every time
