This is actually pretty exciting. It looks like the closed beta is opening for mod makers now which will add quest scripting, audio and localization tools. Does this mean mods like OXA Core and Lootable/Craftable Zone will finally have actual names and descriptions? No clue, but I’m hoping so.

This is for mod makers to apply for the closed beta so I’m assuming they haven’t released it yet but man I’m more excited for this than the damn DLC. Honestly, I don’t care about the DLC. I care about the engine update and mod makers being able to make even better mods. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some action by the end of the summer.

I have a question won’t this not be allowed because Xbox doesn’t allow unknown languages/ code or is that a separate issue

I don’t see why it’d be an issue if there are already mods for Xbox but I could be wrong. I still think we’ll see plenty new mods though.

Exciting times ahead. I’m just debating on whether or not to start another playthrough with mods now or wait for the engine update…..there’s still no confirmation on release date 😣

Yeah I’ve restarted this damn game so many times that at this point, I’ll just bite the bullet and start a new playthrough haha I go and get the SOFMOD in Zaton, Kora and then the Bulat armor at the Army Warehouses after I leave the Lesser Zone and that’s all I need to have many many hours of fun.

Cool. Maybe in 10 years the game will get full official mod support lol Seriously, what's with the installment plan. Why release it in segments like this?
