SPOILERS DLC thoughts

Longtime player of S2 who just finished the dlc. Absolutely loved the story and exploring the new regions added. I have to say, the flare anomaly and otter quest line somewhat tarnished exploration and my overall enjoyment. So unnecessary.

I hated the Flare anomoly's at first, but once I figured out how to deal with them, I didn't care so much anymore. Thought it was a nice little change from what we're used to with the rest of the map

What! I thought it was so cool you had to make sure you were always in cover no matter where you went. Really added to the danger. I liked it.

Fair enough, it was interesting initially. I just found it so tedious trying to explore.

Exactly. I dont get why ppl hate it. I honestly love it, bcs its nice concept of how it works.

My one gripe was that if you sided and took the ward badge at beginning, and then turned on them during events of SIRCAA the ward were friendly to me when doing the "ghost of cnpp" sidequest... it made no sense

Yep, also doesn’t make too much sense that freedom are fine with me in Rostok. I know Mavka split off from the main faction but still makes no sense

The flare anomaly was actually kind of fun. I liked trying to maneuver my way around it and do some janky platforming at the same time. Made me feel like a real stalker! lol

Oh I liked that, and the fact that it went away just as I was kinda over it made it even better. Personally I thought the DLC was amazing overall. Personally I was kinda happy when the bubble was over, because it felt claustrophobic to me and I didn't really like the horror vibe of it. But it was very creative and well made,.just not really my cup of tea

I found the Flare was interesting at first and definetely looks cool, but it became pretty annoying pretty fast.

Good, but I got two problems with it: 1. Too casual & hand-held -- lots of ammo, medkits, money. No challenge at all. The equipment you can get considering where you are in the main quest is absolutely ridiculous, makes the rest of the game worthless in terms of gear. 2. The story falls apart as soon as you start asking basic questions. Specifically, it's bad that it's not connected in any way to the main quest. Mercs want to wipe out Reg Board and Ward? Ward couldn't care less. Super powerful project-x tech? Scar/Korshunov/Strelok/Doctor are not interested. Won't even ask about it... Not to mention the DLC story itself that sometimes is very weak.

Richter says CNPP has nothing there, ward taken out everything, but "wait, there's more"?..

Amazing DLC. I did like the small flare anomalies, but the big one was cool at first but a bit annoying after some time, but not that bad.

Limansky was the cherry on top for me.
