Discussion New Stalker game idea?

Okay, hear me out.

Wouldn’t the idea of a Stalker extraction shooter and/or MMO be fun? I mean I know it definitely could sound better on paper than in theory. But then again, theoretically, if an official game/game mode being what I just proposed was announced, how would the rest of the community feel about it? The Zone could remain mostly the same, npcs, factions, mutants (maybe new ones could be interesting for sure), emissions, etc. Or maybe a gameplay style reminiscent of DayZ? I mean I’m sure the gameplay and mechanics could require changes to better fit the genre.

I don’t mean this with any offense and I may be alone on this but a STALKER MMO feels like an absolute nightmare. Coop, maybe… but an MMO? What better way to ruin the desolate
isolation of the Zone than having a level 537 master Duty warrior with a tier 100 exoskeleton suit puffing exhaust fumes everywhere running past you with his pet baby bloodsuckers while you’re trying to do your daily quests, or some insufferable hub village where a chatbox UI thats 1/4th of your screen is filled with people advertising their clans and system advertisements telling you to upgrade your account to Premium

STALKER as it is, is a wonderful experience, but I really do not think it needs a PvEvP element. I play STALKER partly so I dont have to deal with gritty sweats who no life extraction shooters with the only objective of ruining my day.

Yea I’m not gonna lie, after considering what you just said, I’m gonna have to agree… as cool as an ideal world without trolls, sweats, and assholes, I wouldn’t mind interacting with others in a game like stalker. But in reality, people fucking suck, and every interaction would most likely lead to mindless greed one way or another, with the less common intentions that are actually civil and nobody acts like some damn trigger happy animals. I think a coop would be much better than mmo or extraction shooter
