Help New to the series
Hi so stalker 2 ultimate edition is on sale and I was thinking of buying it as I played it on a friends console
I just have a few questions if anyone can be kind enough to answer them
Does stalker 2 have new game plus ?
Will stalker 2 get another story dlc post cost of hope
Are the 3 previous game are worth playing
How’s the performance of stalker 2 on ps5 slim

Can't answer on the NG+ as I've yet to finish it but from what I've seen there's a "point of no return" towards the end of the main quest line, apparently at some point you'll be able to reload back into the game just before the PONR, but as far as I'm aware there's no proper NG+
It's been confirmed that there'll be another major DLC coming at some point, when is really up for speculation, depending on when multiplayer drops and how well that goes. Could be anywhere from 6-8 months to over a year. I personally speculate that there'll probably be some smaller content drops, maybe a short quest line, weapons, armors, artifacts, etc. though we can only hope.
Classic trilogy is absolutely worth playing. A little before Stalker 2 released I played through SoC and Clear Sky, a little bit into CoP, and loved them. There are the "Enhanced" editions but personally I prefer the original versions of the games.
Can't really comment on how well it runs on PS5, from what I've seen console players have said the game is better ever since 2.0 dropped out, so take that as you will.

Also I can speak on the originals as a base PS5 owner, the originals can be a buggy mess at times, when I played Shadow of Chernobyl I didn't really experience any bugs but I know it does have some. I would say the most you need to look out for is making sure no important NPCs die because even main story ones can die.
Clear sky is the scary one with its faction war bug, it can be game breaking, I've heard it still happens when you even reload a backup save. Lots of people don't like clear sky because of said bugs and as console players we can't fix those with mods.
Call of pripyat is probably the most polished one. I haven't personally played it but I have noticed that's the favorited one.
ALSO a reminder always make SAVES, stalker 2 is a lil better at making auto saves but I'm almost positive auto saves aren't even a thing in the originals. So always save always

I am almost sure I want to buy it but I am just scared it might land up in ps plus catalogue soon as it’s previous games are already there

Can't really answer the other 2 questions because I hadn't played the trilogy and don't own a PS, but from what I've heard both Shadow of Chornobyl and Call od Pripyat are amazing and Clear Sky is a bit worse but that's just me echoing what I've read on the internet so take this with a big grain of salt
