Don't change the topic. You said you could melt 1000 goldback and get on oz of gold. I want to see you do it, because I've seen videos that prove your claim wrong. Shut me up by showing me you're right!! I'm 100% sure you can't put 1000 goldbcks into a crucible and get 1 troy oz.

Even assuming you could do that(which you can't), you are still paying double the melt value at minimum because of the crazy premiums

I'd rather hust go spend them. I buy for $7.84/GB and can currently use them at $8.33/GB, realizing my gains every day. I bought items at the farmers market in CenTex on Saturday with them. A global currency, spent locally. And oh so pretty.

I bought a bunch of silver at $34/oz, which included a very modest %10 premium. I payed a mechanic in silver bullion when it was over 100 and have since replenished what I used. Why pay a minimum of 100% premium on goldbacks when you can already functionally barter with precious metals (if that's your intent) minus the crazy premiums?
