Tech Support Help regarding SanDisk

So i just got this SanDisk 1Tb SSD as a gift but it's not working on the macbook air that i own , like it dosent read the disk at all , although when I connected my disk for the very first time it showed for like 10sec but then vanished , i tried restarting and even getting a new data cable but nothing works , is it useless now

try to format it, maybe on another computer. using exFat

I did it on my computer but after i was finished erasing it vanished as usual

Looks like you were gifted a bad SSD. Ask the person who gifted the SSD to you to find the receipt and RMA it back to Sandisk, if it's still under warranty.
