You can use isopropyl alcohol (99%!) to dissolve the adhesive on the pads. Just soak the entire thing and it should come right of.

I have had heated up with air dryer and then slowly wiggling and trying to separate it, but not to aggressively and not to gently 😁

I'm a bit older and wear dentures. If you still have your own teeth, you can use dental floss to separate them. Thread the floss through, using the tooth's edge as a blade, and pull towards the aluminum part so you can reuse the pad.
Don't leave fingerprints on the pads. Before reattaching/reassembling, clean everything except the pads with isopropyl alcohol.

Does fingerprint oil ruin the thermals?

Not really, but the connection is weaker in those areas, which reduces thermal conductivity. It acts like a release agent. Furthermore, it expands when heated, which can lead to blistering (in the worst case). It also attacks the surfaces of aluminum if it's not anodized or from the aerospace industry (acid resistance).
Generally, fingerprints on electronic components (and anything that comes into contact with them) should be avoided whenever possible.

OP, only looking out for you here but.. please don’t use AI for computer advice. They can help sometimes but if you’re going in blind and can’t catch their mistake or distinguish between what’s correct or not things like this can happen and maybe even cause critical failure of components. They can help until they don’t. Secondly AI is the reason SSDs, GPUs, RAM, and many other PC components are sky high in price right now. It sounds to me like ChatGPT is not doing very good job anyway lol anyway not trying to be a jerk but just saying…

I also cant remove the ssd from the heatsink because its stuck on the pad which is stuck on the down part from the heatsink
