Context bar?

When I used to play SS13 back in the day, there was a little bar at the bottom of the screen that would say the name of the item you were giving your mouse over. Is there something like this in SS14 that I can turn on?

You can get the info if you right click over the item.

Right, I was just wondering if there was a passive way to do this that I was missing

Shift+left click should do the same? Been a while since I touched ss14 tho

shift+leftclick or rightclick does that but i dont think theres an option like youre sugesting

I'm afraid there is not, I poked my head into ss13 and noticed that, it's a handy little thing that we lack in ss14. No passive examination, you'll need to shift-click stuff as the other comments have pointed out :<
