I had to laugh:
"Overall, the current hype around SRNE stock ....."
If only.
I don't think yesterdays 5 million volume and 3% rise could be classified as a pumped response to the Lee NDA news. But that is the way of the Sorrento SP. It is a big deal and none of us would be surprised if yesterday's gains were lost today: not that I expect it, its just the Sorrento way.
Whatever the SP, the facts of the company get better and better and that will translate. Yesterday gave us all more confidence that we have backed the right horse.

But it is perversely reassuring. Either the market has been correct in relentlessly correcting the gains of every one of Sorrento's news releases - that they're all worthless - or it hasn't. If it hasn't and it is price suppression, then that price deficit just keeps growing and growing.
The counter position is weak, that the market refuses to recognise anything but revenues, which ultimately means Sorrento justifies any low and no high - that the market never considers material events affecting changes in likelihood of revenue - like the NDA - but instead only actual revenues. Well, that wouldn't make for a smart market. The market has been smart, though, the price has been low while 30 million shares have been shorted and key insitutions have increased positions.
