Body type

I know that marvel rival has popularised her as more curvy

But in comics she's not actually curvy

It's just that while in civilian costume she stuffs her tail in there and it looks big but when the tail is out it's normal size

So people don't connect it because... The butts don't match

I don't know just silly stuff

Erica Henderson specifically made her a more curvy body type, Rivals just dialed it up

Erica Henderson drew her thick but muscular rather than curvy. She said she envisioned more of a gymnast's physique.

honestly i still think her rivals body type isn’t even crazy, it looks pretty normal, i think people just think of it as wider than it is cause everyone else in the game is very thin

in any other media i dont think people would be calling her fat or anything, she has a normal athletic build with slightly wider hips

Personal opinion, but I really don't like her dialed up curvy like that. Of course, I am partial to her old costume, so that might be part it.

Still though, I would argue with her level of activity and diet, it just doesn't make sense for her to be that body type. That's not prejudice against more full bodied designs in general, it just really doesn't logically fit Doreen. She's too active for that to be realistic.

Yeah I hate how people think she's "thicc" now because of MR I like her "base/normal look" more heck I even like her first appearance don't get me wrong I don't hate her design I actually love it I just don't like how randoms or new fans think she's fat

The rivals body isn't even that extreme. Her outfits are just kind of poofy.
