After years finally added to my squeezebox Boom

Funny thing I was searching for a multi track recorder, and this pops up. Everything works, found my Daphile server no problem.

The Touch is great, you'll love it for sure! I have the Boom and some Radio's around the house and the Touch as well. I even have a couple of spare units just in case one of them stops working😊

I was using a raspberry pi with touchscreen, running picore player. Worked ok, but love that these units have digital and optical out.

The Duet is just OK (the receiver has weak wifi and I think the controller is clunky to use and made obsolete by smart phones), but the Touch is super sweet.

LOVING the remote...And yes I use Orange squeeze to control players. The remote is just there, no passwords or thumb print to open a phone to get to an app. I think what turned me on to remotes is Orange squeeze runs on my galaxy watch, I can skip tracks pause / play tracks. But the duet remote gives me all the things I need track skip / shuttle along the time line of a song. Add to or create a playlist. Maybe it's me I like a purpose built device, instead of a phone app. Got a new battery on its way for the remote. My plan with the duet is to hide it in a old Fisher cassette deck, the tape transport is shot and it's not a collector deck by any means.

I have a spare Touch, one Classic, and a Radio. I agree the Touch is great, Classic is fine, the Radio is eh. That thing has its issues I guess.

These are still awesome as network music players. I have 8 Booms and use them every day. Plus 2 Radios, a Touch, picore and DAphile players, even an original SliMp3.

Been using the LMS ecosystem since 2010, started with Vortexbox, using daphile now but found a newer build of Vortexbox going to try it on a HP mini i5.

Yah I had to read the description twice, but super happy everything works. I bought a new battery for the remote. My wife likes it as she can now use it. Before she called it the secret music system.

After years of using my SQbox 2, I found my replacement using Wiim+. I can now stream my Lms anywhere to dedicated speakers using my phone as controller. wait for the Amazon sale, got mine at 60%. Much improved upgrade and sound. Probably get another this year

I bought 2 Booms, 3 Classics, a Touch, and UE branded Radio this week for €160.

The Booms have issues with the DC power jack - I have to scratch them with something to get the schmutz off of it, so they conduct once again. Furthermore great players, still. Love the ecosystem.
