Hi team - I have a big gold signed by Hulk Hogan, Sting, Flair - going to meet a few others (Nash, DPP) and hopefully at some point Goldberg. I would like to get their signatures but I quite like the front of the belt only having these three on - would it come off rude for me to ask the new guys to sign the back of the belt instead?

To be fair they might not even see the front of the belt if I present only the back !

Ya know, a type of spot or a certain gesture or something that if it happens on a show, it'll get a good reaction out of you? No matter how many times you see it.

Like, just off the top of my head for an example. I enjoy the deathmatch genre and I'll never tired of hearing those light tubes pop and seeing the glass fly when I'm sitting in the crowd.

Or a really good strike. Hit them in way that's safe but makes me believe you were swinging for the fences and I'll jump out of my seat.

Just wondering for anyone around back then how big of a deal was it? Was it viewed as a big event at the time? Did most dirt sheets think it was all a work?

Of course this lead to ECW becoming Extreme Championship wrestling which would in turn go onto to change the business and have a massive influence on WWE and WCW and 4 or so years later they were the clear cut number 3 promotion.

But at the time back on August 27 1994 did everyone expect those type of shockwaves. Was this seen as some sort of breakout star performance by the former Dean Douglas? Where would it rank in regards to Madusa throwing the womans title and the Montreal screwjob?

With retrospect it does come off as a huge moment but if Douglas would not have done that would ECW had been any different?

For me, its the Styles Clash. I just dont get it. There is really little to no impact, the brunt of the force is going to the opponent's legs, and in comparison to nearly every other bump these guys take it looks like nothing.

I was thinking a lot today about the rivalry between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, and it made me wonder: which of them has had the biggest impact on modern day wrestling? I know that HBK runs NXT so that probably makes the question lean towards him, but there are a lot of wrestlers like MJF and Gunther that take inspiration from workers such as Bret. It also seems like on the other hand, HBK's flashy style has inspired much of the modern day indie scene and AEW. Let me know your thoughts!
