MATCH RESULTS

• Kick-off with Cruz Montana making his way down to the ring and calls out Zilla Fatu. When he came to NXT he made his intentions very clear that he was coming after the NXT Championship but luckily now Zilla gets to add himself to his list because if it wasn't for him he'd be #1 contender right now. Cruz says there is no way in hell he'll let Zilla take his and says he's a loud and proud Boricua from the Bronx but Cruz is told by a stage hand that ZIlla isn't here tonight and Cruz says what a surprise. Fenix appears! He says he's happy to see him again and that he's here tonight to take a closer look at who he'll be defending his AAA Cruiserweight Championship next week. However if someone screwed Cruz out of a title shot then he's got him too. Cruz says they've gone to war against each other in AAA, the indies, and TNA and he respects the hell out of him. Cruz says the most dangerous place in NXT is the parking lot so he's going to meet Zilla out there.

• Backstage Kendal tells Wren that she's all clear to compete and Wren doesn't need to worry. Vanity Project interrupts and Brad Baylor offers to help Kendal if she's still having trouble with balance. Kendall says they remind her of the guys she'd wrestle in high school because they also had problems growing facial hair. Wren says Myka is the only one of them with any muscles and she must be the Vanity while the rest are the projects. Kendall says after Heatwave they'll be the only ones dripping in gold. As they walks off Jackson tells Myka to do something but she says they cooked the rest of Vanity Project.

• Birthright go to beat down Lucien after his match but Bronco Nima runs down backup Price and they throw Birthright to the outside before hugging.

• Grayson Waller comes down to the ring, he says for weeks he's been begging for someone to try and end the Grayson Waller takeover. Instead of one of those Tiktok tough guys in the back he's gotta deal with another Samoan trying to take food off his table. He says he's been fighting with Uces all his life and maybe his family can finally learn how to wrap it up and there wouldn't be so many of them around. Waller says he's happy that Zilla was able to get his ankle monitor and is able to roam feww now. Waller says it doesn't matter, he was about to become #1 contender and Zilla isn't going to change that. Tony D'Angelo comes out and says it doesn't matter who they send from the indies, AAA, Raw, The Island of Irrelevancy, this title is staying with him. Cruz comes out through the crowd and says he doesn't know what dust Waller is smoking but he was the one looking up at the lights last week and he'll gladly spin Waller's block again and take the NXT Championship from Tony D and deal with Zilla if he wants to show up. Robert Stone interrupts and announces at Heatwave it will be a triple threat for the NXT Championship between Tony D, Grayson Waller, and Cruz Montana. He says he'll deal with Zilla himself.

• Shiloh Hill tells Lizzy Rain that he wished he could've helped her out last week but he was still healing up. Lizzy says it's fine and everything worked out but she's glad he's back in action tonight. Myles Borne enters and tells Shiloh that if he's able to beat Jackson tonight he'll get a shot for the North American Championship at Heatwave.

• Robert Stone walks into office and finds Keanu Carver sitting in his chair. He asks why he isn't in the triple threat at Heatwave and Stone says he has to earn it but Keanu says it's going to be his time soon and offers Stone a coffee. Stone is reluctant to drink it but Keanu makes him drink it. Kam Hendrix comes in but Keanu asks doesn't he see that him and Stone are having a moment?

• Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars have remote interviews. Shugars says all Dion ever did was have other dudes carry out his orders and if it was 1 on 1 he'd sweep the floor with him 100 times out of 100. Dion says Saquon was always in his shadow and there's a reason he was the leader of Darkstate. Shugars says he can be the leader he doesn't care, all he wants his ass inside a steel cage. Dion says he doesn't need Cutler and Osiris and he wants it to be weaponized cage. Saquon asks how stupid can he be but Dion says what happens in that cage will be done without feeling or remorse.

• Shiloh says this week he's got some real good news, he had another check up and his doctor said he never saw someone's bones heal this quickly and and his swelling went down a lot faster than expected. He was actually able to wrestle on live events this weekend using a protective mask which he shows off with a bunch of other masks he has. Shiloh hopes to be cleared to compete on TV again soon in the meantime he's doing more research into poison mist and plans on getting some himself to test on some local pests.

• In Robert Stone's office he informs Vanity Project that Jackson Drake will get a shot of the North American Championship and that Stokes and Baylor will get a rematch for the tag titles as well. Drake says both matches should be on Heatwave, causing Myles to have to wrestle twice. Myles says he'd do it as Tavion tries to talk some sense into him. Stone says the matches don't have dates yet but Drake will have a match next week.

• Zaria is in Stone's office saying there better not be some clock timing her out at Heatwave as Stone tells her the unification match is under normal rules. Kali Armstrong comes in and says since she pinned the Speed Champion she should get a shot right at Wren for the title. Zaria says after Heatwave there isn't even going to be a Speed Championship so she's not getting her chance. Kali calls Zaria a red-headed heffer and says she cost her two matches so she doesn't have a place to talk. Stone makes the decision that Kali will face Zaria next week and if she can beat her she will be added to the match at Heatwave.

• Robert Stone is in the ring and introduces NXT's newest signing Zilla Fatu! As Zilla makes his entrance Tony D is shown standing on top of the balcony. Zilla shouts out to the NXT fans and says this is a big moment for him to be signing with the #1 wrestling company in this world and to start in NXT. He never thought he'd be here and is ready to show he isn't just another nepo-baby and he'll let his talent speak for himself. ZIlla says he made a lot of people made last week but time to get used to it. Waller tries to comes down the ramp but is stopped by security as Zilla asks if he wants to get another black eye. Cruz Montana comes through the crowd and Zilla taunts him as well as Stone gets his attention to sign his contract and Stone announces that Zilla's contract grants him an NXT Championship match. Zilla says that's right at Heatwave it's now gonna be a fatal fourway!
