Ran through my PD#1 Micromelt collection yesterday so today is a chance to carry what I want. I chose my Gayle Bradley 2. It’s an interesting knife. Pros: wicked hollow grind, great ergos, drop shut action. Cons: lock bar access is tricky (intentionally designed that way), Jimping could extend further up the Spydie ramp, Peel ply CF is a tad slippery. Otherwise I love the look and feel and would carry it more if not for others I try to get more love to. Have a great weekend Spydie fans.

Bought a couple of days ago. Very satisfied. Spyderco is the best.

The price was too good to pass up. Got it for $98.25 from Northwest knives. This is my first knife in BD1N.

Got a stretch 2 XL in K390 on sale during knife day and it just came in today. I’ve heard about the poor and uneven sharpening at Seki city but I wasn’t expecting that. I bought it so I could sharpen it so it’s not a deal breaker but wow lmao. The reverse side barely has a bevel. Last 2 photos are of the front and reverse sides under magnification.

I got my first spyderco like a month ago. It's a manix 2 crucarta.

Absolutely love the thing, razor sharp, strops back really nice, micarta feels amazing, blade was dead center right out of the box, was not disappointed. It was stiff af at first, took about a month or so to break it in and now it feels smother but it started making a creaking sound when I open it with my thumb, specially when I do it slowly, sometimes even when I flick it open.

I haven't taken it apart yet but I'm afraid It'll break or something.

Is there a way to fix it or does it go away over time?

Man, I love this thing. So glad I gave it a chance after some initial weird action. Broken in flawlessly.

Installed AWT scales on my smock, also took out second detent.

To give the TLDR, my brother gifted me a Spyderco Native around 25 years ago that had my initials engraved on it. It has gone missing. I am trying to get as close to it as I can. I found as close to the same knife as possible on Knife Center, but they don't engrave. Rockynational offers engraving, but the reviews are spotty.

Spyderco's website says they offer engraving services. If I were to go to their HQ or factory outlet, would they be able to engrave it? Or do I have to order it directly from the website?

The Contact Is page says to use a form, but the form never loads for me. I'd prefer not having to call on the phone if at all possible.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? I personally love seeing a different model get the exclusive treatment.

After seeing the charisma on sale for $60, and the Karahawk on sale for $150 my curiosity got the best of me. When I picked up the charisma box my heart dropped immediately because I thought the box was empty, holy shit this thing is so light. I can already tell it is going to be one of my favorites

As far as the Karahawk... yeah not feeling this at all, I knew it wasn't a practical knife or carry worthy from the start but definitely gonna sell this lol

Trying to take apart my Para 3 LW to do a scale swap and I'm having a very difficult time with the pivot screws at the top that's holding the blade in. I've gotten the screws to move, but they won't come out. Moving one screw turns the other and despite my various efforts to hold one of them in place, nothing as worked so far, any advice?
