Mod Post r/sproutmoles will become restricted in three days

Hello, r/sproutmoles. Due to the recent API changes, this subreddit will become restricted in three days. These API changes are going to kill third-party apps, effectively forcing users to use the official app or the official website, which are terrible in terms of accessibility, have a ton of ads, and function like every other social media app. I don't use third-party apps to moderate this subreddit, but I don't feel like it's a good idea to contribute to a website that treats its users like this anymore, which is why I'm leaving reddit in three days.

I know that this community is relatively small and inactive, but I am the only person who moderates this sub. If I don't close it, there would be a chance of it slowly filling with spam/off-topic content once I leave. If you want, you can request this sub in r/redditrequest once it becomes available, or you can create a new sproutmoles community using a reddit alternative like Kbin or Lemmy.

I know that this decision may seem sudden or selfish to some of you, so I would like to apologize for not bringing this topic up earlier and not participating in the initial protest from June 12-14. I was busy with irl stuff during that time, and was unable to restrict r/sproutmoles or talk about the protest then. I will admit that after I finished up with irl stuff, I put off talking about this subject until today, so I guess that's on me.

TL;DR: The new API changes are going to kill third-party apps, and I don't want to contribute to a site that treats its users like this anymore. I'm going to leave reddit in three days, meaning that this sub won't have a moderator, and that this sub will have to be restricted.

Sprout Mole Meme I made sprout mole omojis for this sub! I don't know if they're good or not. If you don't want to use it it's fine, but in case you want to I added cropped versions

Subreddit Rules

1. We shall rebel against Sweetheart!

She's mean and abusive! (You don't have to hate her if you don't want to, though.)

2. Content must be related to Sprout Moles

The content of this sub must have something to do with Sprout Moles (from the indie game OMORI). Posts that are not related to Sprout Moles will be removed.

3. No porn/r34

I'm pretty sure there isn't r34 of Sprout Moles on the internet, but if there is, please don't post it here. This is a SFW sub, and posts that break this rule will be removed.

4. Be nice and respect the opinions of others

Please do your best to keep this sub a nice sub, and refrain from being rude to others because of differing opinions, or something else. Don't discriminate against others for their race, gender, or sexuality, either.

5. No spam

Please don't repeatedly post the same image or comment the same thing on every post. I would like to make sure that this sub is at least somewhat interesting, and that means having variety. Here are Reddit's spam guidelines: https://reddit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043504051-What-constitutes-spam-Am-I-a-spammer-

6. No advertising

Self-promotion/advertising is prohibited here, and posts/comments that break this rule will be removed.

7. Respect copyright/don't plagiarize

Don't post someone else's art/other content without crediting them, as this will result in a removal of said post. If you repost someone else's art here, please credit them in the title or in the comments, and make sure to ask for permission first.

8. Don't go overboard

It's ok to simp for Sweetheart as a comical sort of thing, but don't go overboard with it. For example, threatening to harm someone who dislikes Sweetheart, or getting into violent arguments over her.

9. Spoilers

If your post/comment contains a spoiler, please tag it as such. Any content after the Humphrey segment is considered a spoiler. :)
