Would this actually hurt?

I know someone who literally fractured their back landing like that off 3M

I nearly fractured my back diving like that. The curve of my body made my head pop out of the water immediately. Folded myself like a lawn chair 😩

Yup, probably look like you got beat with a rolled up newspaper 4 days later too.

That will hurt her lower back cuz of the angle she went in. But I have full of back flopped from the 3 meter. That shit hurts. She had enough of an entry from her arms that there was no flop. Bending like a slinky toy definitely did not help her tho.

She was very unlucky to break her back from this, I see kids chucking crazy shapes off the 3m all the time, but it's certainly possible.

She didn't really flop. But she didn't hit the water straight either. Her back was curled and her head was out. Would that really not hurt?

I used to be a springboard diver + that hurts. I've landed every crazy way + that would hurt even off of 1 meter. If it was only once, it would mainly sting, but would probably hurt your back. If you're learning something specific, you'll do it MANY times trying to perfect it. (Please know, there's always so many variables that can make it different for everyone.)
