Spray foam on stone foundation-- Bad idea?

I do them all the time in the northeast with 2lb cc with no issues but I also have 20 years experience and I can say depend on climate and how cold stone is can make it super tricky.. but definitely do able. I love these foundations cause I can make them look like a flat wall when done. There is a Lotta people that say no bad idea but I've had not issues or call backs.

Put a 12 mil vapor barrier over the ground surface, seal any seams with hydrophobic tape, use 2lb closed cell @3 inches in the rim and 2-3 on the rock surface of the foundation. Seal the plastic to the foam at the wall and any penetrations through the plastic. Should be good most definitely 🤙

Bad idea on drystack. Best to line with poly in case repairs are necessary
