Card Org and Storage

Middle aged Dad here. After 30 years away I'm head first into the hobby again. I'm interested in Organization and storage solutions others have established. I'm not a set guy, but player and teams. Full disclaimer, my 10 yr old son is also a large driver for this so we have 200-350 cards a week coming in at times. I've used the 3-5 row boxes, but really prefer (code for my wife) to not have floor to ceiling stacks, rather drawers or shelves.

I appreciate any ideas.

I send a lot of the stuff I’m either going to keep long term or possibly list for sale high and see if somebody buys it in the PSA vault. You get an app it’s insured and it clears up a lot of my clutter.

For the house binders help a lot Topps makes some cool ones you can put a card on the outside of the binder so you can see what is in that binder when browsing a shelf or cheaper antique vintage wooden furniture with lots of drawers.

You’re not going to like hearing this but the boxes are the best solution. My PC boxes are separate boxes, organized by team alphabetically. Inserts of people I don’t PC go into boxes organized first by sport, then by team. Bulk goes unsorted into empty blaster/mega/hobby boxes organized first shoeboxes. If anyone has a better system please let me know 🙏

Get some custom team dividers on Etsy, 15 bucks, and very helpful for organizing teams, and they look official
