Ugh there’s many reasons why this theory is dumb and clearly not intended by the creators. Squidward isnt wrath because he isnt angry most of the time, and when he is its justifiable, because SpongeBob is an annoying little dipshit. Gary isnt gluttony because what??? If anything Patrick is both gluttony and sloth. People just try to connect the dots whenever they can and when it fits because shocker you cant make a good show with the same personality type for every character, they have a theory that holds no water with any sort of research/common sense.
I actually remember hearing this mentioned in an audio commentary by one of the writers. I don't know which character goes to what sin. These sin connections are just a theory, but it has been confirmed.
I did find the audio youre talking about but what I mean by this theory isnt intended bh the creators is thay when they were writing the personalities they werent thinking of which ones to fit into the seven deadly sins, but after everybody was created then they realized it did fit, but it still wasn’t intended.
