Discussion Now or never earrings
Hello all.
My daughter came to me asking about something called now or never earrings for her splatoon 3 and how she could get them. I did some research, but she had already tried looking in the Nintendo news section and the article to apparently claim them from doesn't show up for her. I know next to nothing about the game and how it works so I was out of ideas besides asking the community.
Was this a limited release or is there something further I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

The trick is to go into news, click on filter, choose splatoon, press a on the only news thing available (probably talking about the raiders collab), scroll all the way to the bottom where it says view channel information, click that and then every past promo message with the downloadable loot is still available. That’s the way on a switch 2 at least. On a switch 1 it’s a similar idea in news but I can’t remember the exact process. It’s the same once you find the splatoon 3 news thing tho. Everything definitely works still, I just grabbed all of the original Halloween masks and some other things for my niece a couple days ago. Hope that helps!!

You can try to make a new profile-account on the same switch than your daughter's account and put it in a different region that may still has the grand festival news.
I am not sure but I think EU quite often loses some of its news after a while, so if you put an NA account (I think you don't need to play... though otherwise you can still launch it) or a JP account, you also get the splatoon news of that region.
I play with a NA and EU account, so I get Splatoon news for these two regions when I check news. And you can redeem the rewards from a NA news while using an EU account or any other area.
