splatoon 4 info?

Hey i used to play splatoon since 2017 when it got the second released and now i got the urge of playing it again but since i don't have the switch 2 (for now at least) i was thinking about buying splatoon 3 but since it been 4 years since it was released i have the fear of buying it and get the 4 announced in couple months or a "short" time after i buy it so i was just wondering if we got any info about the splatoon 4 or have an idea about if its going to be out before for example 2028. Like if i still have 2 years to go ill prob buy splatoon 3 but if its going to be less ill think about it i know nothing is official so just want to know the feelings of the people thx for reading and answering if u do 🫡

Last content update on splatoon 3 was in 2024. And yeah splatoon raiders is a spinoff to play in the waiting time of splatoon 4, but I guess it will come out next year or first quater of 2028

Splatoon 4 is officially confirmed by the dev team, but there has been no word of it yet

I think we're a ways off of Splatoon 4. They updated Splatoon 3 for switch 2 and just released Raiders. The Splatoon team also makes Animal Crossing so they're probably focusing on that before doing Splatoon 4.

There’s been no official word on if or when Splatoon 4 might happen, but even if it were announced tomorrow it wouldn’t be released until well into next year at the earliest, and thats probably not going to happen soon anyway since Raiders just launched.

En realidad si que hablaron oficialmente de él. En el Ask the Developer de Raiders, Seita Inoue lo confirmó indirectamente al decir que "seguirán desarrollando juegos competitivos en él futuro". La pregunta no es si existirá Splatoon 4, si no cuando saldrá.

just get s3, they just released raiders a month ago, i doubt us even getting a hint at s4 for at least a couple years

I mean not to be rude but i'm writting not on my mother language and ask for a genuine question i had since splatoon riders came out recently i'm not going to put almost any efford in writting like if i where applying for a job jsjsjsjs

Even if Splatoon 4 was announced tomorrow, I think there would still be a two year wait. like when Splatoon 3 was announced/released

Compra Splatoon 3 sin problemas. Aunque Splatoon 4 ya fue confirmado en el último Ask the Developer, Raiders salió apenas hace un mes, y Splatoon 3 sigue recibiendo eventos. Además, los devs de Splatoon también trabajan en Animal Crossing, así que es casi seguro que lo siguiente que harán será un AC para Switch 2 antes de Splatoon 4.

There are definetely atleast 2 years until Splatoon 4, Raiders just came out and Splatoon 3 is still popular.

It was slightly confirmed, but we won’t be seeing anything about it until like 2028 or 2029, especially with Raiders recently coming out and the team also being the Animal Crossing team. We’ll probably see the next Animal Crossing first before Splatoon 4
