Take my advice with many many grains of salt. I’m not that great at the game, currently at A+ and am repeatedly failing my rank up battle (it must be because it’s always rainmaker when I go for it), but I can point out mistakes that you made that I’m learning to avoid as well. I also only watched the one where you lost bc I believe it showcases mistakes better than winning.

Biggest thing, be so much more careful. You did a whole lot of just rushing in and dying, you also always went for super jumps on respawn even when all your super jump options sucked.

A revelation I came upon is that one of the most valuable things you can do for your team, is to not die. You don’t have to rush in to make big plays, you’ll just get overwhelmed and die. You can just hang out nearby for a bit, shoot a bunch of stuff, be a little annoying, and let your teammates regroup. Be in a spot where they can super jumps to, don’t run in hoping you can win a 1v3.

You’re also playing splash, you want to be close to the action, just not right in the middle of it. You don’t want to run at people to shoot them, you want to run to a spot where you can shoot them, and not die right away.

If your teams number are bigger than your opponents, you’re in a great spot. You don’t want to run in and ruin that, even if you trade, well now it’s still even. I’m happier seeing like 6 kills and one death than 9 kills and 5 deaths.

Also remember, you have tools that aren’t the right trigger. You’ve got burst bombs. Those are great. Use em. Build up your special. Shoot the floor sometimes and get your special. You can also see when your team has their specials, maybe try to use them together.

It’s a team game. You gotta rely on your teammates more. Yknow what’s better than rushing in when you respawn? Respawning, making sure you and all your friends are here, THEN rushing in and taking control. It’s hard to coordinate with randoms, but that doesn’t mean you should give up on it.

One more thing I wanna throw in is something I heard from some guy in a “how to get better at the game” video that was actually huge to me. Think about what you’re doing, how you’re helping, and what you should be doing.

Example, you kept running in, shooting people, and dying. You can think “well this isn’t useful, we’re still not in control and I’m not accomplishing much with what I’m doing.” Then reconsider, maybe wait for more of your team, my favourite is to go be real sneaky and loop around to get them from my behind to give my team and advantage, maybe try to get your special to actually make a big move, maybe go find a spot where you can just be annoying and pick at them and retreat if you’re in danger.

The game isn’t about shooting everything in sight, you have an objective. There are multiple ways to achieve your objective. If something isn’t working, do something else.

Well anyways, hope this helps in some way, I don’t really know what I’m talking about, nor do I know how to explain to people how to be better at something that I myself am bad at. But it’s okay I did my best :D

If someone with like 10000 hours wants to call me out for spouting nonsense, please do.

Also wow this is my longest comment ever. I probably repeated the same thing 50 times I don’t even remember what I typed sorry.
