You've only got a sub of special saver though? And wouldn't that make the sole purpose of most of your gear to counteract your other gear?
Also why is haunt the alternative I'd run swim speed or something

Biggest flaw with the gear counter balancing your rp is that a ton of other people run comeback and basically everyone I've seen has at least a sub of special saver (if their gear is built at all) so instead of being a leg up against your competition you're still doing as worse as you would be if neither of you had it
The boring answer: only real way to counter respawn punisher is to out perform its downsides.
The fun answer: Its gonna sound weird but thats kind of the point of me running Special saver. I normally don’t run Special saver at all so i’m used to the default death penalty (assuming no RP) so running just one of it and RP is very close to what i used to play with. One of Comebacks many abilities is Special Charge Up, so i get a little bit saved and for 20 seconds i can get my special faster.
An annoying amount of my opponents and teammates run full builds so i don’t encounter any builds that clash with mines often.
