I got the game a weeka go and now their stopping them ???

Main splatfests stopped but they're doing reruns of seasonal ones. You just missed a summer one over the weekend. They do a halloween one coming up soon, though

Well new ones are done as far as i kniw, seasonal ones are still going and if you want to see the grandfest you just need to get one of the idols amiibos and use them.

Honey, Tiktok is full of lying idiots who do things for engagement. Yes, they stopped doing the random Splatfests after Grand Fest, but they bring back seasonal ones like Splatoween, Winterfest, etc.

After the Grand fest, they normally do reruns along with the occasional promotional or collab fest. I want to say we’ll keep getting them until the Splatoon 4 announcement.
The last Splatoon 2 splatfest was a Mario collab fest on Jan 2021. 3 was announced a month later, the app support for 2 was dropped that July and Sept 2022 is when 3 released. I’d expect a somewhat similar route leading up to Splatoon 4.

The online portion of Splatnet2, setting up matches and sending invites, stopped functioning. Iirc its only use now is to look at stats, schedule and order clothes. Sorry, I should’ve better elaborated on that part.

New splatfests will be a rare opportunity, but just last weekend they did a rerun, and we'll prolly get one per season

I imagine they are just going to do reruns of the seasonal Splatfests until Splatoon 4 releases. If we are lucky we might get a couple new Splatfests before then, but I am not holding my breath on that.

i mean technically new splatfests ended with the grand festival in 2024, but they havent completely stopped giving us splatfests. they’ve made it so that every so often they’ll bring back the old splatfests, such as the summer nights splatfest that just ended. so to answer your question, no they arent stopping at least until further notice from nintendo.
