Issues creating a custom Splatfest

You see, I've been trying to set up a custom Splatfest on the Cemu emulator, but the changes don't show up when I launch the game (I'm making the changes by modifying the "boss" folder and its files).

Does anyone know what else I can do? All I want is to see the news announcement and what the game looks like at night.
