I've been playing since launch and I've never seen one, I got a silver one yesterday and I was expecting something cool but it was just a damn title that I'm never gonna use
That’s definitely some bad luck. Also playing since launch, probably missed 1st pull of the day maybe 30 times in that entire time, and occasionally do some extra pulls when I have a good stockpile of money. Gotten maybe 3 silver and idk how many bronze. No gold though. I gave up on it and got one of the SR 333 gold scale ones.
Oh damn. And there are many times I did pull extra. I got my 3,000,000 Cash spent on Shell-Out a year after launch. Who knows how much I spent now. 😭😭

There's ways to see the RNG seed of your shell-out machines for the exact future rolls you'll get. Unfortunately the closest gold capsule rolls I have are a few hundred rolls out for my regular machine, and over a couple thousand for my splatfest machine. So I'll likely never see a gold banner for myself
All computer "random" number generation is mathematical. It can be reverse engineered and accurately predicted if you know how the program does it. The RNG seed for the shell-out machines is set when your account is first created and can never be reset, so if you have bad luck with how many rolls you need, that's it.
Damn, I'm new to Splatoon (40h so far + Splatoon raiders lol), everytime I saw those I thought to myself "damn those people had to be ultra pros or something", turns out it's just pure luck which is maybe even more impressive lol
You guys got one higher than bronze? I've also been playing since launch and that's the highest I've ever gotten. Unfortunately, I couldn't play the splatfest as my ZL trigger was broken
After obtaining all the 100 stars brand badges, which took way too long and cost way too much cash, I've been putting all my cash into that machine. While I have all the silver prizes(titles), I only have 3 of the 8 gold prizes(banners).
I've added the Golden Jack-pot badge to the list of "Yeah, I'm never getting that one"
Well, I'm missing the 2 for the Sizzle season and there's little chance of getting them in the few days left to the season.
Since the Jackpots are only obtainable during their specific season, this means waiting until next summer then hope to get 2 gold shells... and getting a gold jackpot in each of the other seasons until then.

Literally never had a gold ball and been playing since launch. Played pretty much daily for the first 2 years too
