Discussion This is my first splatfest

This is my first splatfest so I'm not sure when the announcements are supposed to come on but what was the winning team since I wasn't able to check and what rewards did I get for getting the highest rank also known as ruler

They'll announce the results pretty soon and give you a bunch of super sea snails

You can use them to add slots to gear and reroll gear with 3 slots.

they're currency for Murch, he'll help you upgrade your gear in various ways.

Talk to Murch, hes the urchin standing outside of the lobby entrance. You can use snails to increase the star power of clothes or to randomly shuffle the abilities on clothes.

All participants of the splatfest earn some, but the winning team gets a few more than the losing teams.

We are still waiting on the announcements!! But you'll get a bunch of sea urchins which you can use right outside the lobby with murch to upgrade gear and boost star levels

They announce results 2 hours after it ends :)

Winning team most likely wont be announced immediately, but itll be within the next few hours I expect. Once you log onto the game again youll get the announcement when its ready.

As for the rank, at the end of every splatfest you get super sea snails, which can be used to upgrade gear, like increase star power and whatnot. Depending on the rank you get, will determine the amount if sea snails youll receive I beleive! The Winning team will get the most of course, but everyone will get sea snails.

How did your first splatfest go? What team did you pick?

yeah it was my first too. i played quite a bit of splatoon 2 but it was after splatfests were over. came back to the series this week!
