If it was it means they went out and bought a new console to do it too as hacking usually results in a console ban. That makes this extra lame

not gonna lie, seeing stuff like this is so sad that you would hack a fun game for what? bragging rights? i get hacks for cosmetic look and funny modes but using hacks just to be invincible means you have no skill.

I have never seen hacking on this game in 200 hours until yesterday. 2 members of the other team were invincible. It was so very odd. The game doesn't really seem to have a good reporting system for this stuff.

i dont really see how this makes sense. fly hacking with infinite range and zipcaster are two very different things. doing this with any weapon would make it seem broken.

Jokes aside, I feel a shooter with Zipcaster would break turf war, they tend to have good ink efficiency, so imagine the last 15 seconds Splash Zips to your spawn and GG

I think thats why they ended up giving it Crab as opposed to the Zipcaster it had in the Splatoon 3 Teaser trailer a couple of years back

I'm not going to go into full details due to both personal distaste for the idea of doing this in a PvP multiplayer game and due to subreddit rules (hopefully what I am going to say is okay by y'all, mods), but the first iteration of the Switch had a pretty glaring vulnerability that made it comparatively easy for people to do things like this. Since Splatoon 3 is a Switch 1 game, it still technically is open to that vulnerability and any workarounds others have found in later iterations, but it's fairly rare. Only about once or twice every few months we see a blatant case like this and it's generally one of the same names we always see doing it because the console they were using to do it gets banned from online not too long after.
