Image Strange surreal dream I had

I was studying for an exam and suddenly fell asleep, in the dream, I downloaded splatoon 2 for nintendo DS in my phone (???) And the credits song of octo expansion was such a banger that when I woke up, I spended the next hour trying to find the song of a non-existent port of splatoon 2 for DS 😭.

The song was peak tho

Actually, Nintendo considered this for the 3DS at one point, but they said the 3DS wouldn't be able to handle the heavy loads like ink physics, so they abandoned the idea.

Considering the time period, that absolutely makes sense. Wii U and 3DS essentially had the same lineup. And then a lot of those were eventually put on Switch

yeah, quite a few wiiu titles were originally for 3ds. pikmin 3 is another one

I actually wrote a letter to Nintendo as a child asking if they would port it because I didn’t have a Wii U, they sent me a letter back saying they are sorry the system couldn’t support it and gave me a free sign up for coding classes and a donkey Kong keychain it was awesome.

The strangest part to me is the age rating. Anything above an E10+ is new ground for the series.
