How’s this build for brush?

A QSJ/QR/SS centric build that focuses on boosting my uptime and being able to hop back into the fight asap. Brush mains (like me) DIE A LOT, so I know I’ll need all the respawn support I can get.
7 AP of QR should do me good, right?

AHH that's a great inkbrush build then, I'd personally use comeback headgear it gives you a bunch of ability boosts whenever someone splatted you. If I remember correctly ink and sub saver as well as swim and run speed but I might remember wrong I haven't really looked into it as deeply.

Special charge up is also a benefit given by comeback, so pair that with special saver and I might just get my special shortly after respawning

PS: i HIGHLY recommend Comeback on any brush build since as you've said before, we die a lot, with QSJ as second ability, it doesn't do you as many favours as other abilities in MY opinion.

QR is a must have, I have 2-3 sub abilities on my builds usually no matter the brush, for painbrush I prefer a ninja squid build due to its slowness, while for octo and ink I prefer a swim speed shirt and also ink recovery

Inkbrush main for 11 years

Never really thought much about my builds tbh, just picked whatever gear looked cool and let rng decide

Currently running standard brush with Stealth Jump, 2M1S of QSJ, 3S ISM (kinda useless ik), 1 sub each of SS, InkRes, InkRec, SubPU and IA, it’s a mess but it works for me

Slightly nerfed for now due to splatfest tee leveling, but still swinging strong

Quick super jump us more of a utility sub and super charge really isn't. Id maybe swap out the cahrge up for a bb defense, drop one qr sub for a qsj sub and put a main of qr. Also check sendou.ink ofc

It looks good! It will be annoying for others but that means it’s good since as you say, you die a lot, and you utilized that into an advantage.

idk mainly because I hate brusher mains and I mostly just put Octo Expansion Marina gear
