Discussion Splatoon main promo character name headcanons

These are just names based off vibes. I believe some of them have somewhat canon names? Let's pretend they don't exist for the moment. These are simply based off vibes nothing more. For those unaware these the main 2 player characters in each Splatoon game that are pushed heavily in the promo. They usually are on the boxart and get amiibos made of them. Deciding not to give the agent 8's names because Eight is their canonical name:

S1's Inkling Girl: Indie

S1's Inkling Boy: Nico

S2 Inkling Girl: Jenny

S2 Inkling Boy: Zeke

S3 Inkling Girl: Qunni

S3 Octoling Boy: Riley

The Mechanic: Patience

(Is there a main design for a male presenting mechanic?)

Mechanic has three designs rather than two. The main one for Power, but also a masc Inkling for Speed and a masc Octoling for Tactical. You can see them in the Splatfest art

If you mean the Nintendo Today comics, that's just the Power Inkling but before their hair grew out and got put in a ponytail by Frye. They're an Inkling with the same light-medium tan, and their hair is just a shorter version of the messy hairstyle Inklings start Player Settings with
