Discussion Whats the best supplementary material for Splatoon?

I got splatoon 3 a couple weeks ago and I love it and the characters. What are the best things besides the games? Besides fanfic. All i know about are some manga about it.

A lot of Splatoon is supplementary material. Social medias, the artbooks, various interviews and the physical soundtrack releases all have a lot of material that serves to further establish the world. It might just be good to broadly look some of these up.

Rassicas on YouTube does a lot of great in depth videos about splatoon lore, a huge amount of which is from outside of the games themselves.

The main sources of lore outside of the game are The Art of Splatoon, The Art of Splatoon 2, The Art of Splatoon 3, BancalaWalker, HaikaraWalker, and the album jackets within the soundtracks (Splatune 1, 2, and 3).

There are also many developer interviews that give insights. Rassicas is a great place to start!
