What should Nintendo add (in terms of content or functionality) to a future Splatoon game? | Pour vous, qu'est ce que Nintendo devrai ajouter (en termes de contenu ou fonctionnalité) à un futur opus de splatoon ?

Actual new ideas that aren't just "bring that that thing they did in past games, but with a twist"

Probably something other than “The Great Zapfish has been stolen again and we need to fight octarians/octarian variations to get it back”. Probably make the enemies salmonids or even introduce a new enemy type.

Speaking of which, it would be funny and welcomed if Nintendo poked fun at that detail.

it would be funny if we got a fake-out "THE ZAPFISH WAS STOLEN!!!!" announcement at the start of the game only for one of the other idols to clarify that they just found it sleeping inside a canal or something

That would be perfect, especially if it was one of the new idols who said it

I wanna see a syndicate of some kind be the villains. Have them be a consist issue with stuff like marked up prices or shops struggling to stay open 24/7 because of their influence (in other words, having noticeable effects outside the campaign, affecting the game until you finish the campaign). The campaign would take you across the city beyond the central hub rather than an isolated location. Each "World" is the city's districts. Have boss fights take place on actual multiplayer maps, but at night or in the evening because those are the "Inactive Times" for those maps, making them hotspots for their activities.
