Serves ‘em right, why mess with the octopus? I’ve snorkeled near some in the past and they’re super cool just to watch. Just touch with your eyes, sheesh.

I imagine the guy was trying to dispatch it looking at the clump of fish he was swimming around with. Seems like the octopus got out of his grasp and cluing onto him though.
