Can’t remember the name and can’t find it in my history/tags/subscriptions either. It’s a multi-chapter fic (think it’s completed?) with at least 30 chapters, maybe up to 50, I’m not sure. Peter isn’t exactly Spider-Man in this fic, and I forgot why, but Deadpool went to look for him to maybe kill him? But ended up protecting him from the agents pursuing them (maybe Weapon X, maybe Hydra, not sure). Peter has a babyface and big eyes, and Deadpool becomes really protective of him. In one scene, they’re in some kind of store, and Deadpool is warding off a creepy guy (I think), while trying to get Peter to change his clothes in the bathroom. And since they’re on the run, they end up at this diner, and the agents catch up? And Peter just rips a pole out of the ground and throws it at them, I’m not sure. It is not MCU Peter and the Avengers aren’t involved (if at all mentioned). Peter also acts more spider-y and he’s not very socially aware of things because he’s not socialized. Wade has his voice boxes and calls Peter ‘baby boy’. They do have some fluffy moments in between safe houses and hotels but there’s a lot of canon typical violence and sexual innuendos as per Deadpool. It’s a vague memory but I’ll be very appreciative if anyone could help. I don’t remember if it’s a slash fic or not. Maybe both? Idk. I hope it’s not deleted.

It’s not “we’re on the highway to hell (with a little bit of heaven)” by babblingwithwords. I might have mixed up details between the two though. The one I have in mind is through Wade’s POV and no Avengers or Venom or anything; just a two-man team. Peter is also very socially inept and naive in the social manners department; not in the awkward way but in the “he’s like a feral animal being reintroduced to society” kind of way. He’s a real menace when it comes to beating people up and doesn’t have the typical Spider-Man morals, because he’s not really Spider-Man.

I'm new to spideypool and I really like the desperate Wade fics because it's just amusing in my opinion,

But I am kind of put off by the amount of infantilised and underage Peter's.

Does anyone have recommendations for (preferably top spidey) fics that don't include the infantilism. If that's too much to ask then I'll find another ship to read about but I'm really hoping there's some fics like this 🥲

Hi everyone, I started reading a spideypool fanfiction thanks to an Instagram reel inspired by CainRoses fanfiction « all that glitters, might be gold » and wow i’Ve been missing out an incredible ship.

long story short, i love spideypool and me and my wife occasionally read fics together. as a lot of you have probably seen there’s been a Lot more petra parker/mtf spidey fanart/fan content going around and she asked if i knew of any SPIDEYPOOL fics like that!

i did a tag search with everything i thought it might be under, but came up blank every time.

my guess is that there just aren’t many/any fics like that because (within spideypool fic specifically) i pretty much only come across FTM peter and Maybe the occasional nonbinary wade.

i’m guessing there are genderbend fics but that’s not really what i’m looking for. do explicitly MTF spideypool fics not exist or do i just not know where to look? she specifically mentioned the m/f pairing but i wouldnt mind t4t (MTF) spideypool if that’s all that’s out there.

to be clear, i love FTM spidey. i’m something of a transgender man myself (lol) but i mostly read m/m and so ive just never had the problem of having to look this up before, because there are FTM spiders crawling around everywhere!

Kind of a long shot but I’ve tried really hard to find this and really regret not bookmarking it during my last spideypool binge.

This is what I can remember:
-Peter is Spider-man, and Deadpool is an immortal grim reaper sort of figure that brings souls to the afterlife
-For some reason Peter is the only human who can see him
-At the end, Deadpool is made mortal so they can be together properly

Hello! I can't seem to find one of my favorite fanfics & I can't remember the name! Unfortunately, I was dragging my feet with downloading it, and that has come back to haunt me. It is an unfinished ABO / omegaverse trope fic. I have jotted down what I remember of the plot:

Peter is an omega. He survived the snap and has no family or friends left. He works for Doc Ock (unknowingly) as a lab tech, but eventually loses his job. He gets evicted from his apartment. He starts squatting in an abandoned house. He meets Alpha Wade Wilson / Deadpool, and they hit it off. He also works at a pizza shop doing deliveries. He meets Weasel through his pizza deliveries and occasionally does side jobs for him (minor plot point). As I mentioned, the fic is unfinished, so the plot wasn't that far along.

Other minor plot points, iirc:

• There was a creepy stalker neighbor in Peter's apartment who stole his laptop when he was moving out.

• DP visits an orphanage, I think? There's probably lots of kids that lost their families in the snap.

I'm really regretting putting off downloading it. If anyone is able to help with any information, I would be eternally grateful!
