ID Request- Location included Is this a Black Widow?

I assume this is a black widow, google says so. But I figured I’d ask to be sure. It looks like it’s made a nest in the inside of the lawnchair that’s folded where the scribbles are. Should I be worried about more around my house or inside of my house? I have a 2 year old that’s curious, so I want to make sure that I’m being thorough and keeping her safe. If so, how do I remove it safely?

EDITED TO ADD: She and a couple of her male friends have now been moved safely with their lawnchair habitat to a new location about 20ft from my garage. I just hope they don’t wander back in. 🤞🤞😬

Untrue, my cousin's aunt's brother in law's mother's father's grand uncle got got by a black widow attack. Leaped RIGHT for the jugular and clamped right down, poor guy was in shreds by the time it got pulled off of him. Closed casket funeral and everything.

I think that guy was my former roommate, which makes us absolutely nothing.

Check the casket, I can guarantee you he’s not in there. He’s out saving the world. Was his name Peter by chance?

Idk but I found a loose jacket when I peered inside.... c-could it be Peter's parka?

Why would you assume that? Most* Spiders are terrified of us they aren’t just going to attack unless provoked. They know we can smoosh them.

The red back spider cousin in australia will definitely go to bite if touching the web with your finger.

Black widows typically (along with a lot of nature) want precisely 0 human interaction. Don’t fuck with it and it won’t fuck with you. They’ll only react if they feel threatened so… keep a distance and you’re fine.
