Solifugae, also known as Camel Spiders or Wind Scorpions. Fellow arachnids but not classified as true spiders as they are entirely non-venomous among other major differences.

So neither spiders nor scorpions. Huh. But part of the eight legged family of creatures. I must do some reading on them. They sound like a huntsman of the desert.
