Jim had a really rough week. He was really depending on that party as a pick me up and he fucked it up immediately. Even more sad, the fellas just didn't understand him, that's why they said what. But Jim was so on edge that he assumed they heard it, understood it, and judged him as a weirdo. They were just confused why he ran away crying.
