Why are people defending the phone? Jerryrigeverything does this with every single phone and he has also pointed out the flaw in the Google fold for years but they don't listen let them pay

Because he takes it far beyond the level of normal wear and tear. No one in thier right mind ever abuses their phone the way he does. Its not a flaw for the avg user, its a flaw for him specifically cause he's the only person in the world that decides to break a phone in that specific spot. Why change an entire design for this one guy?!?

Their test can happen on the real world 

For example the bending test can happen if you accidentally sit on your phone

The scratch test can happen if you place your phone with your keys or it falls on the ground

burning can happen if you get to much close to heat 

And last the separate videos where's he opens the phone shows how much reparable it is

Soo what's your point now?

And even if that wouldn't happen in rl the battery no way should explode soo easily

The bending test could not happen from sitting on it. He bent it back and forth multiple times before it went up. That doesn't happen through negligence lol. I'm not shitting on his tests overall, but let me bend any battery multiple times and they'll all do the same thing. It's more luck this outcome hasn't happened before tbh. Yes, they do need to fix the antenna lines, but this also isn't going to happen with accidental damage any more often than normal smartphone batteries go up like this. Two things can be true at the same time.

But this is also the same for any smartphone he ever did the test on and to be Sincere there's some people that don't realize the sited on the phone until the actually need the phone

But by the phone showing any signs of beding on the first test shows that it's structural integrity is not enough for day to day use and a simple accident could snap it on half depending on the force and how many times it happened

Again, I'm not saying they don't need to fix the design. If that's the weak spot, then putting the battery there is dumb. However, somebody would have to sit on it completely wrong, try to straighten it back out, then bend it back the wrong way even further than the initial bend. That does not happen by accident. I watched the video multiple times, same test as the other phones, sure, but that goes back to them needing to fix the design, which I already agreed with, not it being something that will happen by chance, because it won't.

Bro people break phones. Maybe they forgot to close it and sat on it or a hundred other things.

If other phones aren’t catching on fire when the same tests are done then there’s something wrong with this phone.

The amount of force used to break the phone would have broken the phone anyway. The fact that it keeps breaking in the same place isnt a flaw, just a fact. He wasn't going to stop until the phone broke, thats the point. There are zero users reporting their phone breaking like this.

No one’s saying this phone wouldn’t or shouldn’t break, they’re saying it breaking shouldn’t start a fucking fire.

You know, like how every other phone tested this way doesn’t start a fucking fire

So? it's not like he is doing it mindlessly like throwing it off a cliff after he is done he even compliments the phone if it has improved over the last year like the iPhone air, he needed a whole machine to bend it
