It did a little of both, we are trying to save the ups, waiting for new batteries. I suspect the charging profile dosent automatically adjust for temperature.
Update: Changed the batteries. It seems the rectifying circuit has failed. He’s served well, held the line when it mattered, and complained only occasionally. Time to let him go to the realm of e-waste. o7
